""To pull a Charlie Gordon"" means to do something that Charlie Gordon would do. Charlie is considered stupid by his friends. So ""to pull a Charlie Gordon"" means to do something stupid.

  5. You know Alex, just the fact that you could find so many words to describe my homework already shows how different we are. If it were me, I'd say "short but cool" and get on with it. We are too different, indeed. But not in the negative way.
